|Manchester Camerata’s Principal Oboe Rachael Clegg appears with conductor Natalia Luis-Bassa for the Haffner Orchestra on 25 June at Lancaster’s Ashton Hall.|
Adrian Mullen, Arts Correspondent, Westmoreland Gazette writes:“CONDUCTOR Natalia Luis-Bassa picks up the baton once again for the Haffner Orchestra in Lancaster.
|Soloist for the concert will be Rachael Clegg, principal oboe with Manchester Camerata. Rachael – who has been oboe tutor at Chetham’s School of Music for the past 12 years – frequently plays with other orchestras, such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Northern Sinfonia and Royal Scottish National Orchestra. The programme features Mozart’s The Magic Flute, Brahms Symphony No 1 in C minor and Oboe Concerto in D major by Strauss.”|
