2012/13 Season Announced - 40th Anniversary of Manchester Camerata

Let the fifth decade begin... As we celebrate 40 years of Manchester Camerata, we present a season featuring Mozart as you have never heard it before, led by the irrepressible Gábor Takács-Nagy.

The vivid drama and colour painted in Mozart’s music combine with the unstoppable energy and passion of Camerata. Throughout the season, we will be sharing the platform with an array of world-class artists, including sopranos Rebecca Nelsen and Rebecca Bottone, St. George's Singers, and internationally acclaimed pianists Francesco Piemontesi, Ingrid Fliter and Ferenc Rados. Our exuberant Leader, Giovanni Guzzo, will also take centre stage in unmissable performances of Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons and Beethoven’s Violin Concerto.

2011/12 Season - 'Best of British' Season Finale Concert

Ahead of our anniversary season, don't miss the final concert of our Portraits in Music season on Saturday 26 May 2012 at The Bridgewater Hall in Manchester - a spectacular Best of British celebration featuring favourites by Elgar and Vaughan Williams (and a surprise from Haydn!). Camerata’s mesmerising Leader, Giovanni Guzzo, will captivate the audience with Vaughan Williams’ delicately impressionistic The Lark Ascending.
