Camerata Principal Players  

Composer-in-Residence Laura Bowler joins Camerata string principals for this intimate and theatrical UpClose programme in the round at the Royal Exchange Theatre, featuring an eclectic range of Baroque and contemporary chamber works for one to five players across a spectrum of colours and emotions. The programme will also feature a world premiere of a work by Laura, written specifically for this 

Music will include solo cello works by Bach, a world premiere by Laura Bowler, Fantasias by Henry Purcell, Anton Webern’s Six Bagatelles, Handel/Halvorsen Passacaglia, and extracts from Bach Goldberg Variations and Kurtag’s Signs Games and Messages.’
