Urban Symphony Resources
Urban Symphony is Camerata’s year long learning project, which has been delivered in partnership with The Bridgewater Hall, Ian Simpson Architects and supported by Bank of America. Drawing inspiration from iconic buildings from around the city of Manchester, children from various schools have been working with Camerata musicians, a composer and visual artist to produce a new symphony in 5 movements that have been featured as pre-concert performances throughout the 10/11 season.
These workbooks have been specifically designed as a way for people to engage with the architectural features of key buildings around Manchester. Designed by Ian Simpson Architects, they act as a useful resource for all, containing pictures, fact sheets and detailed information about the architecture, design and style of all the buildings chosen for the project.
