Manchester Camerata is a chamber orchestra committed to enhancing lives through music's power to inspire, communicate, educate and entertain. Based in Manchester, Camerata embodies the energy, innovation and creativity for which the city has won international fame.
Through live performances which are characterised by their intimacy, immediacy and passion we will make our work distinctive, relevant and open to all. We aspire to reach the highest possible standards in both our learning work and concert performances and, through this, enrich the lives of all those who experience our work.
Manchester Camerata receives regular support from the Association of Greater Manchester Authorities and Arts Council England: North West. However, to maintain our current standard and quantity of work we have to raise £200,000 of additional funding every year.
