Manchester Camerata's live recording of Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde, available solely as a digital download. The performance of the version for chamber orchestra of Mahler's song cycle took place on Saturday 30 January at the Bridgewater Hall as part of Manchester's ongoing Mahler Festival. Conducted by the orchestra's Music Director, Douglas Boyd, it featured mezzo soprano Jane Irwin and the tenor Peter Wedd. The performance attracted warm reviews: Paul Driver in the Sunday Times wrote:

"The poignancy of this account was highlighted by the reduced forces: just 16 performers... The tenor soloist Peter Wedd and, above all, the mezzo-soprano Jane Irwin assured us of a deeply affecting experience."
