Manchester Camerata Goes International

We are delighted to announce that Manchester Camerata will be peforming with the Mercury Prize winning Antony and the Johnsons for two dates in July as part of the 2009 Manchester International Festival.
The concerts at the Manchester Opera House will see the genuinely unique and internationally celebrated singer-songwriter Antony Hegarty perform songs from across his career backed by a 36-piece Manchester Camerata orchestra. The delights will be visual as well as musical; Manchester-born lighting designer Paul Normandale will transform the Opera House with a stunning light installation for the two concerts.
