At the end of August, participants from primary schools across the district worked with Musical Director Eve Harrison, Dramatist Anna Jewitt and Camerata musicians to create their own modern interpretation of Mozart's famous opera The Magic Flute.
The children came from five different schools and various year groups. The group re-wrote the story and script, composed their own music and song lyrics, and made their own props and costumes for the final performance.
At the end of the four days, the pupils performed their creative piece of musical theatre in front of an audience of 50 family and friends.
