Manchester Camerata has a strong team of directors who play a crucial role in guiding the business of the orchestra at a particularly challenging time.  They oversee the development of policy, strategy and operations - underpinning the orchestras sense of purpose and direction. They work closely with the Artistic Team to manage and develop the company helping to make it one of the most exciting and forward thinking music organisations in the country.

Director - Lawrence Jones

Having previously established Manchester's premier corporate hospitality agency, Lawrence saw an opportunity to establish his next business at the heart of a burgeoning industry and created UKFast in 1999 to fill a gap in the UK hosting sector.

Thanks to his vision the company has grown year on year without fail, even featuring for two years on the run in the prestigious Deloitte Technology Fast50 list. A feat which has seen Lawrence collect the coveted Institute of Directors title of Young Director of the Year in 2007 and also be named in Crain's Manchester 40 under 40.

Also in 2010, Jones was named Technology Entrepreneur of the Year at business magazine EN's 'Entrepreneur of the Year' awards as well as being named Employer of the year at the IT industry awards.

With over 4000 clients now on its network, UKFast was the first UK hosting provider to become 100% carbon neutral; offering all of its clients environmentally friendly hosting as standard.
