The concert was excellent - Mikhail Gurevich had ample opportunity to Show Of with the Mozart and he did it brilliantly.
I personally enjoyed the final Haydn Symphony and am still humming it today. We both commented on what a difference it makes to have the music interpreted first, through reading the programme or as an introduction- as happened with the Port Essington piece.
