A popular combination of chamber music written by Mozart, Strauss, Rachmaninov and other favourites, performed by Camerata's principal players. A charming Bassoon Quartet by the German composer Danzi, a contemporary of Mozart and Beethoven, is followed by a transcription of Strauss' riotous and witty Till Eulenspiegel, condensed down from its original massive orchestration into a score for five players! Alongside Mozart's ever-popular Clarinet Quintet, filled with lyrical melodies, enjoy the final movement of Schubert's wonderfully lyrical and much-loved Octet.
