The programme brings together the clinical expertise of a Music Therapist alongside a musician from the orchestra who adds breadth and depth to the music-making and supports the Music Therapist in a group setting.
The person must have experience of working with older people and/ or people with mental health issues and be able to demonstrate how they have successfully delivered group Music Therapy sessions. Experience of working with people with dementia is not essential but is greatly encouraged.
